My journey as a photographer started in 2024; starting as most do with a hobby camera and playing with said camera until i created a style i was happy to build off of. I have since updated my equipment, grown my clientele, and shifted my goals.
my goals when first starting was to be a western photographer. i dreamed of romanticizing all the details of cattle working on horseback. and while that still veyr much is my one true love, i don't get to do it nearly as much as i wish. i am limited to sessions within the typical work week since i have a full time job outside of photography. so my sessions offered became much more broad and has opened so many doors for me since doing so.
My style is authentic and true-to-life. I want to capture all the emotion filled moments, just as I saw it with my own eyes. i tell your story through my lens.
never editing out the real or raw behind it all. it is timeless. it is meaningful. it is your memories.
I met my husband john at sam houston state university where we both quickly fell head over heels for each other. we started dating in october 2018.
Fun fact: i was the first girl john had ever brought home to meet his family.
We graduated in december 2020 and He later proposed to me on my birthday the following year (oct. 2021)....in the kitchen of our 1st home together still in our pajamas. no candles, no signs, just real and raw
We got married in april 2023 surrounded by our close family a handful of friends.
in 2024 our lives changed forever. we found out we were pregnant with a little girl. our family was growing.
2025 we welcomed margaret suzanne into this world. she was named after our grandmothers; margaret is my late grandmother and suzanne is a combo of johns late grandmother sue and his grandmother ann.
she has been the light of our world since she got here.
Another fun fact: my cousin and i both delivered our children the same exact day.
About me: Because even my story deserves to be captured and documented.
at the end of 2025 we bought 11 acres where we plan to build our home headquarters starting in 2026. we raise cattle, mostly preconditioning calves. we always have a handful of ranch horses, working cur dogs, and maybe a few bottle calves. we have our pot licking mini schnauzer "tux" who has a constant task to beat our toddler out of her snacks or tug-a-wars with his toys.
